Amy Winehouse was hands down, one of the most influential singers of our time. Following her untimely passing on July 23, 2011 some producers and musicians like Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson, who worked closely with her spent time listening to her many recordings and with their help and the association of Amy’s family, management and her Island Records label, they decided to create her third album release, Lioness: Hidden Treasures.
This album features guest collaborations with Nas and legendary crooner Tony Bennett, unreleased tracks, alternate versions of her classics that pays tribute to the late singer to let her fans know that her spirit still lives on even though she has sadly departed from us.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
