Police Brutality at Pete Rock Show…We Must Connect the Dots (via Davey D’s Hip Hop Corner-(The Blog))

The people at Bucktown USA Entertainment are my peeps and biggest supporters ever since I have started my blog. I was shocked to learn overseas that this whole debauchery that happened at Tammany Hall June 28th went down when it wasn’t even supposed to.

At first it was a peaceful event and everyone was having a good time, minding their own business and then later, the police wanna interrupt the whole party over an argument that was already squashed. The NYPD should have used better tactics on how to diffuse whatever situation it was, but they used that almighty badge to abuse whatever power that was given to them at the moment.

My heart goes out to the Monumental 5 and others who were attacked in this awful melee, especially my good friend, Louie Skaggs and Pete Rock’s daughter, who was only trying to protect her mother.

Police brutality has got to cease. We have already lost innocent lives because the NYPD feel it’s a God-given right to handle situations like spoiled brats: How they want and when they want to. If we, as people, don’t do anything to stop it now, then their literal bloodlust for power and authority will continue to affect people’s lives and their loved ones.

Big shout out to Davey D’s Hip-Hop Corner for a post that holds true to such an unfortunate situation.
