Hosted by upcoming artist Anthony Hall, Live From Oz shone the spotlight on some of music’s rising stars. Checking out some of the performances was Grammy Award winning producer Jerry Wonda (he worked with people like Mary J. Blige, Miguel and The Fugees, just in case you didn’t know).
Mree – An emerging experimental folk artist, this little lady has drawn the attention of music industry professionals everywhere, including Grammy winning artist Bon Iver. With over 6M hits on YouTube, she has released her debut album, Winterwell, last month. Check out her performance here.
Masha – This singer is taken under the wing of Primary Wave management and has been working closely with Claude Kelly. She has over 3 million views on YouTube and her EP, Stupid, Stupid Dreams drops October 22nd.
Lydia Caesar – An R&B artist who has written ever song on her debut album, Caesar, and her “St. Louis” video debuted on BET’s 106 & Park. You can Check out more of Lydia’s music on her website, LydiaCaesarMusic.com.
Caleb Hawley – an artist working on a new project, he performed a cover of Beyonce’s “Love On Top” at the showcase. Watch how he works here.
Mateo – signed to Interscope Records, this singer has released his studio album, We Met Before, which features production from Kerry “Krucial” Brothers and Zeke MacUmber and it features a great blend of R&B and alternative music.
