Last Thursday, hip hop veteran Shabaam Sahdeeq held his very first art exhibit at the Lower East Side’s Top Shelf Premium Vintage Store called “The First of Many”. His collection speaks of mostly music and life, but one piece alone speaks closely to him, which he explains in the video. People such as Lyricist Lounge’s Danny Castro, The Freedom Party’s DJ Cosi, emcee Skeezo and myself came out to celebrate Shabaam on his opening night. Director Olise Forel (Moving Silence) gives a look inside the exhibit and if you guys ever wanna check it out in person, just swing by 85 Stanton Street in LES! But for those who missed it, this will happen again, which is why it was called “The First of Many”!

Side note: Be sure to check out the store, too. They got some pretty dope vintage fashions there!
