It has been two years since Mic Handz has released a project, I know most of you fans are waiting for him to drop some gems and now the wait is over. Handz brings us The Prelude and although it’s not an album, this project is the personal playlist and travel log bumping in his headphones and it speak volumes for itself. Mic Handz has enlisted barbarian support from notable emcees like Ruste Juxx, Rockness Monsta, Sadat X, Tragedy Khadafi, Innocent?, Dready Kruger, General Steele, (The late great) Sean Price and more.

The production has been handled by the international arsenal of beat makers such as Dichter 2 Productions, Cool FD, Aaron “Freedom” Lyles, Lyve 1-OH and Ozee. The Prelude also inlcudes the Dre Knight-produced Handz/Sizzla Kalonji reggae-laced collabo track “Rydin’ High”, a track never before released in the States. This project is the dope ear candy before he drops his long-awaited My CoDeez album, coming soon.

Remember in the words of Handz himself, “It’s never me it’s always them”!

Get the project now on Bandcamp.
