Music Choice, the #1 music provider on TV, hosted the last stop (and NYC debut) of its Music Choice Presents: Sound Check Sessions featuring artist and producer extraordinaire Rico Love yesterday at New York’s Music Choice Studios. Rico has written and produced hit records which include Usher’s “There Goes My Baby,” Nelly’s “Just a Dream,” Trey Songz “Heart Attack,” Kelly Rowland’s “Motivation” feat Lil’ Wayne and Beyoncé’s “Sweet Dreams,” and has contributed to GRAMMY Award-winning works such as Beyoncé’s 2009 Best Contemporary R&B album “I Am… Sasha Fierce,” Usher’s 2010 Best Contemporary R&B album “Raymond v. Raymond,” and Usher’s 2010 Best Male R&B Vocal Performance “There Goes My Baby.” In addition, Love has written and produced records for artists such as Fergie, Chris Brown, A$AP Rocky, David Guetta, Wiz Khalifa and Mary J Blige. He recently released his debut album, Turn The Lights On, through his own label, Division 1, a partnership with Interscope Records. Love is currently on tour with Monica for The Code Red Experience Tour sponsored by Music Choice.

Twenty lucky fans were not only treated to an acoustic performance by Rico but to have vocalists Kreesha Turner & Bridget Kelly hit the stage was a special treat. It was also followed by candid and intimate discussions moderated by Shoboy (from 92.3 AMP’s Shoboy In The Morning) about love, life and everything that inspires their music. The concert series was a direct reflection of Music Choice’s commitment to enhancing music fans’ experiences by bringing them closer to artists that matter and providing a meaningful platform for emerging superstars. The sessions are part of Music Choice’s MC 100 campaign, a celebration of the year in music.
