@IAMPROFIT – Independence Day Mixtape

Profit currently resides in Tampa, FL by way of the Bronx and Western Massachusetts. He will be releasing 2 projects: A collaboration EP with his ol co-dee Benefit (of EMS) set for release this fall, and a “down south to uptop” mixtape with Zeebo (514Beastmode). Over the years he’s collaborated with many major and underground artists including Cassidy, Fred the Godson, Eve, Lil Cease and Banger, Freeway, Mcgruff, Ali Vegas, Amil, and more to come. He plans on solidifying his spot in the history books with Hip Hop’s elite and telling his story to motivate and inspire the youth to follow their dreams and never give up.

His new mixtape, Independence Day, contains no features whatsoever, so if you are a lover of bars, this mixtape is definitely for you. Cop it now on datpiff.

@rustejuxx357 – “BKLYN” (produced by @stonetonebeats)

‘BKLYN’ finds Ruste paying homage to his neighborhood and some of its legendary emcees over a hard-hitting production by London-based producer Stone Tone. Ruste doesn’t forget to treat us to his usual barrage of punchlines which sit perfectly over Stone Tone’s infectious composition.

New Brooklyn heat for these streets! Staten Island’s own Last American B-Boy directs the video to the Ron Browz-produced track, “Nah Wah Problems” with Belle (who hauntingly sounds just like The Notorious B.I.G.) featuring hardcore beauty Mani Miles and award winning female MC, Toni Steelz. Keep a sharp eye on the video for a few cameos as well.

@TheSeasonLI13 – The 631 EP

@TheSeasonLI13 – The 631 EP

The Season’s 631 EP is a very personal project by design. Over high quality beats produced by Stigmata, The Season let’s his listeners into his life. Right out of the gate he makes a statement on the intro and title track, “631,” stating mistakes he has made and his new approach when it comes to making his music. With the help of fellow Long Islanders Tha Kid Jae (3H), Isaiah (VMR), Lifestat (VMR), Alphamale (3H), and Status (3H), The Season and Stigmata deliver a multi-dimensional ep, continuing the trend of high quality music coming from Long Island following the releases of Alphamale’s “All Sides of Alpha”, and Lifestat’s “Significant”.

The 631 EP out now on datpiff.

@elgant – “Raw” (Produced by @42Keez)

@elgant – “Raw” (Produced by @42Keez)

An uzi’s firing rate is precisely six hundred rounds per minute. Neither one of us are counting bars, but El Gant’s presentation here over 42 Keez’s canvas could very well be the closest representation of a lyrical uzi in 2015. “Raw”, the lead single off his upcoming Spray Music EP, cosigns itself that Gant’s emceeing abilities have been doing pushups since the acclaimed 2014 release of Beast Academy. With 42 Keez’s Chicago-driven soundscape and a universally accepted and respectable rhyme display, the single attests to mainstream potentiality and sits well on the current, in listeners of 2015. In opposition, don’t get the potential screwed up. Gant is always building with and in the lab with veteran emcees and true schoolers, alongside successful solo strives and his IV League posse (Ras Kass, Shabaam Sahdeeq, El Da Sensei and more). Get your pen or touch screen out and be prepared to mark your calendar for the EP; trust is a must..

In a recent exchange of dialogue with RESPECT Magazine’s Dread Solo he was asked about breath control. Gant responds, “I moved into an oxygen chamber three stories under the earth”. This sums up the admirable aesthetics of “Raw”.

@ProduKtJRG – in·con·spic·u·ous EP

Produkt, the hard hitting emcee from the Bronx is a 5x Underground Music Award winner and Billboard Charting (Hot 100 Hot Singles), whose “one fan at a time” grassroots philosophy has netted him hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube and over 1.2 million online video views over numerous blog sites. Produkt’s two year long ascent to notoriety accelerated in 2014 when he released his hit single, “Hold it Down”. The track caught the attention of well-respected music critics as well, and has been awarded Best Video and Song of the Year honors at numerous underground award shows.

In in·con·spic·u·ous, we all know the term “SPIC” is a slur, but he is flipping it into a powerful acronym for “Spanish People In Control.” On the record he addresses the same issues that plague Black people including police brutality. The cover conceals the identity of 4 children, which is a reflection of how many Hispanics have to live with the lack of identity here in America. In America, Hispanics are often referred to as the racial slur, a highly offensive term referring to a Spanish-speaking person from Mexico, Central or South America, Spain, or Portugal, by other races and ethnicities.

in·con·spic·u·ous is now available for streaming and free download.
